For starters this mount is okay and need’s some improvements. I did make it work but it’s questionable if it will last for my use case scenario. For now it’s good.
When you connect the piece into the Starlink it Snaps right in with a good loud distinct click. The problem is it is not 100% a tight fit so it will rattle while driving. What I did to fix this was add pieces of 3m Vhb double sided tape to Close the gap that was making it vibrate. It’s quiet now and doesn’t rattle. Also the plastic isn’t pretty so if you’re into fancy shiny plastic cosmetic pieces these aren’t it. These are basic 3D printed plastic but the plastic is strong polymer type. The magnets are strong and I don’t see the star link flying off on a bumpy road.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona and it was 106 today and I was very interested to see if they would still continue to maintain the hold on my cyber truck skylight. As far as I know they’re still holding. Great product.
Seems nice and sturdy. Can’t use it because of misspelling. Contacted customer service and they have a new one shipped.
